If you were a philosopher, I would describe myself as an existentialist and a humanist; a bird, traffic; a friend, the question, "do you remember the time we... ?" If you were a tree, I would describe myself by sitting against you and thinking out loud.

I am an embedded systems engineer for National Instruments. I recently finished my masters at the University of California, Berkeley, where I developed the Tunneling Ball Device. My researched is summarized in http://modelelements.com, and published as a technical memorandum.

I often remember "that song", and I often leave a fresh cup of tea resting at home on my countertop when I mean to take it on the road. My interests include technology, music, skydiving, bicycling, and traveling. I actively blog, and can be found on Facebook and YouTube, so drop me a line!
